God is a person
God is a person.
He’s not a doctrine or a set of teachings.
He hides proof of His existence because He doesn’t want you to just know He exists. He wants you to know Him. He hates it when you want to see miracles for the miracle’s sake alone. He loves it when we appreciate who He is in all of His rich grace, mercy and love and all that He has done.
He reveals Himself in Christ, and we can know Christ in the word. The whole bible reveals Christ, including the Old Testament. The more we see who Christ is, the more precious God is to us.
